CHINESE LUNAR NEW YEAR PARADE

The 2023 Annual Chinese Lunar New Year parade is organized by the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of Washington, DC (CCBA) in partnership with the DC Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA).

The Year of the Rabbit – People born in the Year of the Rabbit usually have soft and tender personality traits. They keep a modest attitude and maintain a pleasant relationship to people around. They will not be irritated easily, and they also avoid quarrels as much as possible.

Years of the Rabbit include 2023, 2011, 1999, 1987, 1975, 1963, 1951, 1939, 1927.

Georgetown GLOW is a holiday hit in the District, a celebration of holiday-themed artistry.

Participants range from locally renowned to internationally celebrated, while their works gorgeously adorn outdoor spaces throughout Georgetown.

Hours & fees

Please visit our ice rink shed to purchase one-time skating sessions; at this time, we only offer advanced, online purchasing for season passes and skating lessons. Access to our ice rink is available first come, first served, and we may sell out on weekends and busier days.

Admission fees
Fees cover two consecutive, 45-minute skating sessions that each begin on the hour, leaving a 15-minute break for ice maintenance.

• $12: Ages 13+
• $9: Ages 12 and under, 60+, military service members with ID, students with school ID
• $225: Season pass

Rental fees

• $6: Skate rental
• Free lockers are available first come, first served.
