October 5, 2018 Today we visited the Imperial Palace, the gardens and a Shinto temple at Sensō-ji.

October 3, 2018 It was a beautiful 1.5 hour drive from Aomori to the little town of Hirosaki where we visited the castle, gardens and a local museum where they display the paper-lantern-like battles of the past for the annual Aomori Nebuta Matsuri.

October 2, 2018 It was a 30 minute walk to downtown Otaru from where ship docked and the little town could not have been more adorable. There were little chocolate shops and confectioners everywhere. April 6, 2018 Another fantastic day. Left our hotel in D.C. early this morning, headed to Gettysburg and did the usual Movie, Cyclorama and two-hour battlefield tour. Then to Amish country for food food and more food before bowling in Philadelphia.

March 8, 2018 Today, New York City...Take Two. We were the first ones on the ferry this morning. Hopped off for 5 minutes at Liberty Island to take a photo up Lady Liberty's dress, and then hopped on the ferry back to Ellis Island.
